FAQ
1. What does refrigerant reclamation mean?
Reclamation is the act of processing (with equipment in accordance with AHRI-740 standard) used refrigerant gas which has previously been used in some type of refrigeration loop such that it meets specifications for new refrigerant gas (to match the AHRI-700 quality standard).
2. Can I use recovered refrigerant without an analysis?
According to SFS-EN-378-4 standard, at least acid and moisture analyzes must be carried out before using recovered refrigerant. Using refrigerants without adequate laboratory analysis is risky, as used, unrefined, as well as illegally imported refrigerant may be on the market for sale.
Before purchasing, always ask the wholesaler or manufacturer for a quality certificate on the quality and origin of the refrigerant.
