F-gases as a service and service leasing

In today’s society, customers and end users expect products and services to be produced and delivered in accordance with sustainable development principles.

Traditionally, chemical manufacturers aim to maximize sales volumes, while users seek to minimize consumption. In modern society, the goal is to reduce the use of raw materials and the production of new substances while maximizing the lifecycle of chemicals in a cost- and energy-efficient way. A new solution is a service leasing model covering the entire lifecycle of refrigerants. With this approach, both the production and consumption of refrigerants, as well as the emissions associated with them, can be significantly reduced.

Recycling combined with service leasing provides one of the most sustainable ways to transition to new solutions. When maintenance has been properly carried out and systems remain leak-tight, refrigerants are not contaminated with foreign components and significant leakage can be avoided. At the end of the leasing agreement, the recovered refrigerant is reclaimed to virgin-grade quality and returned to reuse.
