Refrigerant
laboratory services
We provide refrigerant quality analyses in accordance with
AHRI-700 and ISO 11650-1999 standards. Our laboratory identifies refrigerant contaminations such as non-condensable components, moisture, chlorides, oil, acids and other impurities.
Read more about the AHRI-700 standard.
AHRI-700 is a globally recognized standard that defines the purity requirements and approved testing methods for refrigerants. Its primary objective is to ensure that refrigerants — whether virgin or reclaimed — are safe and efficient to use in heat pump, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. For this reason, it is essential that the origin and quality of refrigerants are traceable from the manufacturer or distributor.
Quality determination
is a key part of the circular economy

Determining refrigerant type, quality or purity:
- Order a sample cylinder by email or through the CTS system
- Fill the sample cylinder according to the instructions (approx. 0.8 kg per sample cylinder)
- Send the sample cylinder to us for analysis
- You will receive an AHRI-700 compliant quality certificate confirming the refrigerant’s composition and purity
- Refrigerant analysis is free of charge when performed in connection with reclamation.
How can we help?
Eco Scandic is the first company in the Nordic region focused on refrigerant reclamation, restoring refrigerants to virgin-grade quality through advanced recycling.
Our mission is to provide sustainable circular economy solutions that help customers maximize the value of their resources by extending the lifecycle of refrigeration systems while reducing emissions.
